The presentation below shows the steps I took in order to produce my first Hozier CD cover.
This is the final product of my CD cover, I think that despite the use of any manipulations the CD cover turned out well. I wanted to see if I had the skills to create a CD cover that I am proud of without the use of manipulations.
I am quite happy with this as I think that the cover fits well with the black and white theme that my group have decided we are going to use to approach our music video, CD cover and tour poster.
This has shown me that you don't need to use Photoshop manipulations to create a professional looking CD cover. The only thing that I think I would need to change if this was my final CD cover is the edges of the image and try and smooth them out to help the image sit on the page a little better.
